For the current ICT project in Malawi “Exterminate all the Brutes v.4”, I am currently looking for a hacker, who is travelling through Africa and could possibly help to solve a Networking issue.

Your assistance would be highly appreciated!

“Bloody Niggers”

Saturday, December 17th, 2011

Why did God create man? Was it out of carelessness or ill will? We don’t know. But in all events, man exists, black, white, red, and yellow, Far back in history, Assyrians, Babylonians, and Egyptians lived and fought, but God was aiming all the time at something different and better. He let the Greeks and Romans appear out of the darkness of barbarity to prepare the way for the race that from the start was chosen to rule over mankind, namely the British race – “limited islanders, baptised with mist, narrowed by insularity, swollen with good fortune and wealth”.

Lower races live in Africa, Australia and America and on all the thousands of islands in the South Seas. They perhaps have different names and petty differences between them, but all of them are essentially “niggers”, “bloody niggers”. Nor are Finns or Basques or whatever they are called anything to reckon with, They are just a kind of European nigger, destined to disappear.’

Niggers remain niggers whatever colour they are, but the archetype is found in Africa. Oh, Africa! God must have been in a bad mood when He created that continent. Why otherwise flll it with people who are doomed to be replaced by other races coming from outside? Would it not have been better to make the niggers white, so that all in good time they could become Englishmen, instead of giving us all the trouble of exterminating them?

Niggers have no guns, so no rights. Their land is ours. Their cattle and fields, their wretched household utensils and all they possess is ours — just as their women are ours to have as concubines, to thrash or exchange, ours to infect with syphilis, leave with child, outrage, torment, and make by contact with “the vilest of vile, more vile than beasts”.

Our bishops scream to high heaven when the Armenians are violated by Turks, but say nothing about the much worse crimes committed by their own countrymen. The hypocritical British heart beats for all except those their own empire drowns in blood. The God who has created people like us – must not he have been a fool?

The challenges of Neo-Imperialism

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

Last year, when I discussed with my partners a possible investment into another ICT project in Malawi, we aimed to offer the opportunity to an African School to run and build up a computer network, consisting of newest hardware, with its own responsibilities and competence. We were curious to see and learn, at what point an African School is capable to do so. Therefore we decided to send ICT equipment with the simple agreement that the project technicians will just have to document and communicate. Further we decided not to send instructors and conductors but to shift the costs into financing the hardware. This would allow the local project technicians to present their skills and proficiency.

Meanwhile 10 months have passed and our office only received very few and scarce information after putting pressure onto the responsible person. Even the Director of the school, who continuously confirmed his commitment, did not feel the necessity informing our office for months.

The roots of colonialism still seem to keep the Malawian culture in its strong hands and projects only are successfully realised imposing and dictating western measures and skills, whereas a Malawian expects his begging culture to be nurtured.

Almost one year has passed, many deadlines and announcements that were set by the IT technicians gone by without notice and result. A day ago I learned that the technicians are finally installing the thin client terminals and are facing the challenges of getting PS2/USB adapters for mice and keyboards. This shows the poor level of competitiveness and exemplifies why the western economies won’t have to fear competition for the next century. The mechanism of western leadership and exploitation is not endangered.

One could say that another development project in Africa has failed and money has been wasted. But to us the gain of learning at what point the Malawian ICT culture is evolving, is priceless!

Exterminate All the Brutes memeAs Vic Marley (may his soul rest in peace) was singing in his Song: “Every man came from a woman“.

It is a well known fact that men are lazy Niggaz, which also applies to African Cultures. In less developed cultures it’s the “weaker gender” that takes care of the financial management in the household and familial responsibilities.

Project version 4 of the Foundation “Exterminate All The Brutes”, therefore is fully borne and directed by women. Three women from three different continents. A managing director from Southern America, an Executive from Britain, grown up in Zimbabwe and an ICT sysadmin from Malawi, who studied at the Polytechnic (University of Malawi).

As we’re currently working out the final details of the project preparation, we’ll publish a full project description within the next days.

The final stages of the Thin-client Project

Thursday, October 27th, 2011

things are sounding, if at all that expression exists. our network guys are busy finalising networking the computerlab, when the network is finalise later today or tomorrow morning the thin-client will be set into the computerlab reaching their final destination waiting for the students to use them, i will upload pictures and a video of the lab later in the day, in my next post.
The plan is we will do two tests on the thin-client from the lab one tomorrow and the other one on Monday 31 october.
IT Point sent us the power adpters for the WYSE thin-clients, which were not a complete set, they did not have power plugs, these delayed us a bit since our procurement officer went at local suppliers insearch of the compatible power plugs for the adapters. we have found a few power plug, but we will proceed in setting the thin-client with the plugs we have

Delivery of Computer lab Accessories

Sunday, September 25th, 2011

Hi again,
Am feeling anxious as accessories will be coming on KCN this coming week. we will start with furniture which will probably be in by monday 26th of September 2011, these furniture are basically computer desks and chairs and also steel bars for security of the computer lab.

On tuesday or wednesday we are expecting the network accessories to be in and we are already have prepared for network installation. the Computer lab network diagram have already been drawn by our network team.
Things are sounding good at the moment.

to side track a bit, last week lecturers at KCN were being trained how to use Curriculum management system (CMS) built on moodle. it was an exciting event were lecturers create e-resources and link them to CMS from a network folder

September 21st manifestations

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

I just got the information from Malawi, that people across the country are going to demonstrate against the President tomorrow, as he’s still not answering to the petition. Let’s hope, the manifestations are going to remain peaceful and the Malawians are successfully campaigning for their democratic rights.

“The High Court has vacated an injunction stopping Wednesday’s anti-government nationwide demonstrations and vigils as planned by the civil society.”

Dandire writes:

“I urge my fellow malawian to have a peaceful demo.breaking other people’s properties or harming each is not a solution. At the end of the day its our malawi.Mutharika is not going to lose anything since our taxes will provide him with massive security around the clock. The other thing is that, i beg our unprofessional police not to use guns anyhow where deems not necessary to use guns. These people are even fighting for police, the army and anybody so that we have a better malawi for everybody.Better life should not be only for a few greedy people who believes by bootlicking the failed Bingu are serving Malawi. The haves and havenots gap is getting wider and wider in malawi just because of some few greedy people who wants everything for themselves.Let create a better malawi for everybody and we should desist for anybody to divide us for his own cheap gains like Bingu.Tiye tonse tikakwapule chi demo choopsya kwabasi that will shake malawi.”

In order to get prepared for the tomorrow’s manifestations let me suggest the following video of Slavoj Žižek, one of the rare europeans most brilliant philosophers, who talks about what it means to be revolutionary today.

[Update 23:26h]

“Malawi government has called the three-day mass stay away from work called by civil society groups as illegal and asked workers to get to work and students to be in classes.
The activists called for a stay-away from Wednesday, despite winning a court battle allowing them to hold vigils, saying they feared for their safety.
But government through Information Minister Patricia Kaliati urged people to go to working saying it will be a normal working day.”
